While our approach diverges from the traditional model of selling collections, it fosters user-driven supply for the entire NFT collection. This means we don't affix a price on Items or Sets; the market, via decentralized exchanges and in native chain tokens, determines their value.
What we, as a platform, offer for monetization are faction boxes: unique Ban.Cap "keys" that allow users to unveil an NFT. These boxes have two distinct pricing "tiers".
Standard faction boxes will be introduced at 100 YVC per item at the inception of season 0. Subsequently, the price will oscillate within 85% - 150% of this original price.
Note: The mechanism for updating prices will be finalized closer to the season 0 launch. The choice between weighted randomization or meta-driven price alterations will hinge on community feedback.
Thus, item generation will be roughly valued between 5.0-10.0 USD (or the equivalent of 100 YVC within that range). Purchasing faction box guarantees you an item of specific faction from the seasonal faction pool.
Acknowledging that fair RNG might be deemed expensive by some, we've introduced an "entry-level" rookie box. Priced at stable 100 YVC, this box provides all 4 essential items to complete a set. However, there's a trade-off: each item in this set has its damage range reduced by half.
The integration of fees is solely to streamline migrations to future EVM-compatible blockchains. Due to heightened security requirements, only specific authorized platform accounts can initiate specific operations, incurring gas costs. To mitigate potential misuse โ where malicious actors might inundate system accounts with flawed action requests โ minimal fees have been introduced to cover aforementioned gas costs.
